What is Data?

A distinct piece of information usually inserted in a special way.

In software, Data divided into two (2) category:

• Data - exist in a variety of forms, it could be a number or text; or bits and bytes stored in e-memory or person’s mind. It is often used to know and be familiar to a binary machine-readable information from textual human-readable information.

• Programs – Often abbreviated as DB. It is a collection of information organized in a way that a computer program can easily access desired data. Mostly categorized into fields, records and files.
